Sunday evening on our way home from a wedding in Michigan, Nathan got his first deer. Unfortunately it was with a Volvo, not a shotgun and at 70mph on the interstate, not from a deer stand. Praise the Lord, we are all just fine. The second picture shows the damage to the driver's side back door. However, the window is no longer in one piece. The window broke and shattered glass flew throughout the car, yet Brennan was protected. Nathan and I are just praising the Lord for His protection over Brennan!!We did have a wonderful time visiting our friends in Ohio and had a great time at the wedding. We just wish that the drive home would have been less eventful.

Congrats on your first deer, Nathan. So glad you are all okay. Too bad you couldn't find it and bring it home strapped to the top of your volvo. Then you'd REALLY be granola!
