We have some new additions to our home. We recently aquired 6 baby chicks. The kids were so excited. The chicks hop all over us and are so cute. We are planning on raising them for eggs.
Should be a fun new adventure. My neighbor growing up is the children's librarian here in town and has been raising chickens for years. She brought us some Golden Comet chicks and helped us with setting up for this adventure. Thanks Mrs. Laura!

Currently the chicks are in a cage in the garage. But soon they will be old enough to move to the yet-to-be-built coop in the backyard.
