Emmett celebrated the big 5 this week.
The celebrating started with a birthday morning donut.
The big celebration was a skating party with his best buddy. We had never taken the kids ice skating, so we were a little unsure of how this would go. Based on Emmett's smile and his quote for the day, "THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!" I think it went well. Emmett did an amazing job.

Greta really enjoyed herself too. They had these awesome skating "walkers" for beginners. Greta loved the freedom it gave her. If she caught us following her, we would get in trouble.
Brennan had fun too, though he was surprisingly a little cautious.

I was able to get on the ice too, thanks to Gumma and Gump who came to play with Cormick and watch from the comfort of the lobby. Big Help!!!
